  The Kgalagadi, with its frequent extreme temperatures, is a semi-desert made up of rolling dune-lands cut through with dry river beds. But in some years there are excellent summer rains when the grass grows thick enough to resemble fields of golden wheat. This big male lion, head high in tall grass, was searching ahead for his brother who had just disappeared from sight.
  
  This paper print is part of a limited edition collection of 125 signed prints.
