Standing girl - white, holding a gold warthog, wearing a black costume and red lips.
This figure is a resin composite cast of a wooden original that was carved by hand. Each figurine is hand painted with love.
The popular African Clonette doll was used as a departure point to develop these figurines. Clonettes are known as little angels that will look after your loved ones and guide them through life.
Modern Clonettes are made out of plastic, but were originally made from wood. Noush Projects wanted to transform them back to where they originated. Each one of their original figures is hand-carved from Jacaranda wood, from which a mould is made and then resin composites produced which look and feel practically identical to the painted wooden originals. The casts all carry the names of the original they were cast from. They all are made to order and get individually cast and painted by hand.
