What sets Robin Sprong apart is creative collaboration with artists, designers, illustrators and photographers. The original designs are like fine art for your walls. Here, we introduce you to a few of the creatives behind some of Robin Sprong’s best loved designs.
Born in Limpopo and raised in the city of Pretoria, South Africa, Glorinah has embedded her nostalgic early childhood life in her heart and continues to reflect it in her wallpapers and fabrics. Extreme neutrals, bold geometric patterns, careful use of color and simple lines represent her signature style. Being a true city girl with a rural heart, her core mission is to re-define the African design style and introduce her version of high-end modern Africa to the world.
The Skinny laMinx recipe is simple: A love of pattern mixed with equal parts of playful and chic. Back in 2005, Skinny laMinx’s founder, Heather Moore, a self-taught illustrator, started making papercuts and patterns inspired by her love of mid-century style and a dose of African chic. She screenprinted these designs onto fabric just for fun. Next thing, this hobby had become a business. Oh, and in case you are wondering where the name comes from, it’s the nickname for Heather’s skinny little Siamese cat, Monkey.
The Skinny laMinx collection for Robin Sprong Wallpaper is a celebration of shape, color and composition, showcasing a selection of Moore’s most loved designs.
Skinny la Minx fabric designs are also available across a wide range of fashion and home accessories including tote bags, dishcloths, table runners and throw pillows.
Kleine Rijke is dutch for ‘little riches’. This ethos is transferred into everything that the brand do. The wallpaper range was inherited from a 100 year old drawing collection and was etched in the 1800’s. Each piece is truly unique and consists of incredibly fine detail.

Nicki Ellis is the dynamic and creative force behind the South African bespoke homeware and décor studio, Love Milo. After a successful career as a freelance photographer and a telecine grader, in 2010 Nicki found out that she was pregnant with her son, Milo. This exciting news motived Nicki to create for herself and to begin on a journey her son could be inspired by. She took the leap and started her own homeware and design brand. Her collaboration with Robin Sprong features some of her best-known, inspired-by-nature designs.
Love Milo designs are also available across a wide range of tableware items available at Sarza, including bowls, table runners and tapas sets.
