  • Danica Andler is a US-based designer and illustrator. She works between NYC and Los Angeles on graphic and interior projects in the industries of retail and hospitality. Her love of drawing inspired this first collection of surface designs; GLEAM, PLUME and POSY. All of her work begins with soft pastel or colored pencil drawings. The unique compositions in her botanical pieces are made by connecting floral and foliage that wouldn’t commonly be found in the same climates, or present in the same season. These often depict the same stem in its full bloom and also once preserved. Her pieces all have a strong focus on light and color, as she commonly blends the pigment of a finished drawing to create a look that references the bold but translucent tones in a gleam of light.
