Louis Hiemstra is a Cape Town based freelance photographer. He has traveled extensively and has been on assignment as far afield as Mongolia, where he documented an extreme endurance horse race across the Mongolian steppe. His love of exploration with camera in hand is insatiable, and he will gladly consider commissions from anywhere on the planet.
Louis is a free-spirited artist, who is more comfortable in a tent in the Karoo than in a five-star hotel in any city! He finds his inspiration in nature, natural light, and unpolluted starlit skies.
