The Bakuba throw is inspired by the rhythmic design of the Kuba Cloth, which has been woven for centuries in Central Africa. Traditionally it was woven from fronds of the raffia palm tree and decorated with natural dyes and embroidery. The Kuba Cloth is one of the most visually exciting fabrics in the world and has influenced many artists including Henri Matisse and Pablo Picasso. Matisse was so fascinated by this cloth that he kept a large collection and displayed it on his studio walls. Bold and vibrant, yet elegant and sophisticated design Made from 100% cotton grown in Swaziland Designed, woven & made in South Africa Perfect for use as a bed or couch throw

The Babuka throw I purchased is absolutely gorgeous. I am actually glad it evolved that my first choice was unavailable. Sarza let me know right away and I chose this beautiful throw instead. The quality exceeds what is shown on the website. Thank you so much.

Dear Karen. Thanks so much...we could ask for a better review, nor a nicer compliment. We appreciate all the support you give us and our suppliers.
