  • Paplepel Floor Lamp

      • We stir the pots with it – We test our food with it – We discipline with it – We sing with it -the paplepel wooden spoon.

Inherently part of African culture, the humble “paplepel” (wooden ladle). A floor lamp with European influence and a design inspired by Africa…the quiet one in the corner shedding light on your book – the Paplepel floor lamp.

The weight of the steel base steadies the lamp while the lamp’s main structure is constructed from 5 pieces of solid wood which also holds the electric cable internally.

Please allow 8-12 weeks for shipping.

      • 18" W x 24" D x 71" H (450 x 600 x 1800mm)

      • The Paplepel lamp is made in Ash timber with a selection of different stain options:

      • Wood: Use a damp clean cloth to dust regularly. Do not use abrasive, silicon, or oil-based cleaners. Blot spills immediately to avoid moisture, penetrating the wood.
