The newest addition to the Woodbender range, the Vuti Chair, a fresh take on the existing Kariba Chair.
With an increase in pop-up dining experiences and cosy cafés opening up, especially in urban areas, there is a need in the market for seating suitable for interiors with space constraints. The Vuti chair is the answer to this need and forms an essential part of every space-saving establishment.
Like the Kariba, the Vuti is characterised by its elegant curves and open back, a true expression of pared-back design and sophisticated simplicity. However, this reimagined design takes space-saving form and functionality to the next level. The Vuti can tuck much closer to a table apron or thick tabletop with a protrusion of about 10 inches (260mm) from the point of contact. If able to tuck right under the table (no centre table base obstruction) the backrest will fit against the table top and protrude by about 6 inches (15cm). In an installation where every inch must be accounted for, this smaller footprint combined with the fact that the Vuti can stack makes for significant space-saving capabilities. According to experts, simple wooden chairs with clean lines and open backs work best to create an airy, lighter space, especially in smaller areas.
What sets the Vuti apart from other similarly designed chairs on the market is the exceptional craftsmanship and bentwood artistry that goes into producing it. Handcrafted, with an emphasis on quality and durability, the Vuti does well in high-traffic areas where chairs are not only sat on but also pushed, dragged, rocked, and lifted.

I ordered the framed canvas “Sardine Dream” in 35”x50” and could not possibly love it more. I feel like I’m transported beneath the surface of the ocean when I look at it. The canvas arrived expertly packaged and is extremely well made. The rustic wood frame is beautiful as well and only enhances this stunning piece of artwork. I ordered several other framed works and cannot wait to get them up on our walls.
