This artwork is from the Omo Collection by South African fine arts photographer David Ballam. With traditional customs and beliefs, that are still largely unaffected by outside influences, the people of the Omo Valley are beautifully unique.

The canvas is stretched onto a frame and framed in a reclaimed African wood frame. These frames are very organic and come with knots, contusions and imperfections in the wood - this is a reclaimed wood, so it does have these imperfections.

I ordered the framed canvas “Sardine Dream” in 35”x50” and could not possibly love it more. I feel like I’m transported beneath the surface of the ocean when I look at it. The canvas arrived expertly packaged and is extremely well made. The rustic wood frame is beautiful as well and only enhances this stunning piece of artwork. I ordered several other framed works and cannot wait to get them up on our walls.
