    • Turkana Jewellery, Lake Turkana, Kenya

It features a portrait of a woman from the semi-nomadic Samburu tribe that lives around Lake Turkana in Kenya’s Great Rift Valley – a remote, vast stretch of water known as The Jade Sea. The jewelry worn by women indicates their status in society.
