This artwork is from the Asante Sana Collection by South African fine arts photographer David Ballam.
It features a typical view of the traditional outrigger boats, or Ngwalas, used by the Swahili people on the spectacular island of Zanzibar, off the coast of Tanzania, Southern Africa.
Available in a wooden framed canvas, un-stretched unframed canvas or fine art print.
The reclaimed wooden frames are very organic and come with knots, contusions and imperfections in the wood - this is a reclaimed wood, so it does have these imperfections.

The canvas is stretched onto a frame and framed in a reclaimed African wood frame. These frames are very organic and come with knots, contusions and imperfections in the wood - this is a reclaimed wood, so it does have these imperfections.

A natural white, 10oz (295g) fine art paper. This 100% cotton paper has a fine homogeneous surface texture (smooth). I ordered the framed canvas “Sardine Dream” in 35”x50” and could not possibly love it more. I feel like I’m transported beneath the surface of the ocean when I look at it. The canvas arrived expertly packaged and is extremely well made. The rustic wood frame is beautiful as well and only enhances this stunning piece of artwork. I ordered several other framed works and cannot wait to get them up on our walls.
