The dark cork is manufactured from recycled cork particles and is produced industrially without the use of additives and requires low energy consumption.
Whereby the light cork is 98.5% natural with a small amount of adhesive to bind the granules, making it durable and user friendly.
Manufactured in Cape Town from organic and completely recyclable cork.

Laurie Wiid Van Heerden is an up-and-coming designer making waves with his innovative use of cork. He has pushed the boundaries of the material to achieve a number of world firsts. His collaborations – including with other Sarza artists - allow him to work across various materials and products.

I ordered the framed canvas “Sardine Dream” in 35”x50” and could not possibly love it more. I feel like I’m transported beneath the surface of the ocean when I look at it. The canvas arrived expertly packaged and is extremely well made. The rustic wood frame is beautiful as well and only enhances this stunning piece of artwork. I ordered several other framed works and cannot wait to get them up on our walls. Sarza is a local gem, and perusing all of the treasures that the owners personally curate is an experience in and of itself. Go see for yourself!
Sarza is a hidden gem for interior designers. I found a lamp (the Bofred lamp) we had been eyeing, but it was South Africa based.
